Anton Bruckner International School (ABIS) is located within the Bruckner Tower in Linz, providing a modern campus setting in Upper Austria's tallest building. As the only institution in the region authorized for the IB Primary Years (PYP) and Middle Years (MYP) programs, ABIS serves over 380 students from more than 50 different countries. The school is currently a candidate for the IB Diploma Programme (DP), planning to enroll its first cohort in 2026/27. Instruction is delivered in English, complemented by specialized German language streams for both native and additional language learners. A unique feature of the school is its "Service as Action" program, which encourages students to apply their classroom learning to local and global community initiatives. Additionally, the school supports linguistic diversity through after-school mother-tongue classes in several languages. Its central location ensures excellent accessibility via the city’s public tram and bus networks for day students.
Linz International School Auhof (LISA) is Austria's first and only public international school in Upper Austria, offering the Austrian Matura (Reifeprüfung) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP) to students aged 10–18. The IB Diploma Programme is studied in the final two years (11–12), with most students completing both diplomas; a two-year LISA Academy Programme is available for language preparation. LISA is a branch of Europagymnasiums Auhof in Linz, providing public access to international curricula. Facilities include a library with more than 15,000 books in English, German and French, a drama room, the amphitheatre Theatron, biology, chemistry and physics laboratories, and a computer-lab network with laptops for every class. The school offers English immersion, study in up to three languages, and a CAS- and theatre-rich program with trips abroad that broaden horizons. As a public school, LISA provides access to both diplomas regardless of family finances for families worldwide and beyond.
