Curricula commonly on offer include the International Baccalaureate, British programmes (Cambridge IGCSE and A-levels) and American or locally adapted competency-based programmes, and parents should expect schools to publish fees in either Azerbaijani manat or US dollars and to add registration or capital levies. Admissions generally follow a September-to-June school year with a main intake in late summer and an ongoing application route for transfers, but competitive places, English proficiency testing and subject placement assessments are usual - applications for some programmes (for example the IB Diploma) are often treated earlier in the cycle.
