Kaunas Panemunės progimnazija is a public municipal school in Kaunas offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) alongside a bespoke curriculum for ages 3 to 14. The campus uses Kariūnų pl. 5 for administration and Kuosų g. 22 for the main entrance. The IB PYP began in 2022, with a focus on inquiry-based learning, intercultural understanding and a holistic, sustainable worldview, including IB exhibitions and community events. In 2023 staff completed IB-related professional development totaling 1,079 hours, with 56 IB certificates issued and 15 staff completing month-long trainings. The school joined the IB World Schools network on January 16, 2026, and maintains international partnerships, including Hiracuka Minatos Primary School in Japan since 2018, plus exchanges with schools in Estonia, Switzerland and Turkey. Collaborations with Vytautas Magnus University and Vilnius University support higher‑education progression. Facilities include a library, catering services, a 333 m2 gym, 202 m2 dance halls, and art/music spaces, along with an all-day program for preschool and primary learners, serving about 391 students.
Erudito Lyceum – Kaunas Campus is a private international bilingual school located at J. Gruodžio g. 9 in the centre of Kaunas. It offers a combined educational journey with International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes and national pathways. Primary education (Grades 0–4) follows the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), while the Diploma Programme (DP) for Grades 11–12 is taught in English. Cambridge Secondary and Cambridge IGCSE support learners in the middle years as part of the national framework. The school is coeducational and serves students ages 1 to 18, with campuses in Kaunas and Vilnius. Kaunas Jesuit High School, Kauno jėzuitų gimnazija, is a non-state Catholic school located at Rotušės a. 9, Kaunas, Lithuania. It traces its roots to 1649 and is the oldest continually operating school in the city, re-established in 1991. The school offers primary (1st–4th), basic (5th–10th), and secondary (11th–12th) education, and runs a Pre-IB Diploma Programme alongside the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme taught in English for 11th–12th graders. Enrollment covers primary, the fifth grade, the first gymnasium, Pre-IB, and IB diploma classes. A multifunctional science and sports center is under construction. Facilities include a library, cafeteria, a small sports hall (former cinema) and an outdoor basketball court, plus a Retreat Home in Kulautuva for spiritual development.
