XV. gimnazija in Zagreb, commonly known as MIOC, is a historic science–mathematics high school that offers both the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the IB Diploma Programme (DP), alongside a Bespoke Curriculum. The IB is delivered in English, with a language policy that also includes Croatian and several language acquisition options (English B, Croatian B, German B, French B, with Latin optional). In the MYP (MYP4 and MYP5, ages 11–16) students study in eight subject groups, undertake interdisciplinary work, complete a mandatory Service and Action component, and culminate in a Personal Project in MYP5. The DP has been offered since 1991 and provides a clear progression to university. Facilities include a cinema hall, a library of over 22,500 volumes (9,703 in the IB department), laboratories, a canteen, a gym, and outdoor sports facilities. Extracurriculars include MUN, drama, choir, IB bands, yearbook, film group and debate. Globally recognized.
