Step 1. Admissions operate in rounds with published deadlines. The rounds are: Round 1 with a deadline of November 10, 2025; Round 2 with a deadline of January 10, 2026; Round 3 with a deadline of February 10, 2026; and Round 4 with a deadline of April 20, 2026. Admissions decisions are issued 2–3 weeks after each deadline, and the contract and deposit are due one week after receipt of an offer. Early submission improves the likelihood of securing a place.
Step 2. To start the process, submit an Admissions Information Request via the online application portal. After submission, set up your account following the email instructions. The portal is used to manage the application checklist and scheduling of campus visits and interviews; access is through the Candidate tab.
Step 3. Step 1 interview and family meeting is scheduled after account setup. For candidates living in Jordan, the campus visit includes a campus tour, a student interview, and a meeting with an admissions counselor, totaling about 90 minutes. Candidates should bring a copy of the candidate's ID, passport, or birth certificate. For candidates outside Jordan, interviews and campus tours can be arranged via Zoom by emailing the Office of Admissions.
Step 4. Step 2 ID documents are required. Submit copies of the passport, birth certificate, and family book (the latter for Jordanians). All documents must be uploaded to the online portal or sent by email to admissions@kingsacademy.edu.jo.
Step 5. Step 3 Complete the admissions application requirements. Provide full information in the online portal, including family details, candidate citizenship, languages spoken, and responses to parent and student questions. Ensure all required fields are completed to consider the application complete; incomplete submissions may delay review.
Step 6. Step 4 register for an admissions test and pay the application fee. The application fee is US$140 or 100 JD; candidates from public schools in Jordan are exempt. Jordan-resident candidates must register and attend one of the King's Academy Admissions Test sessions. International candidates may submit SSAT, MAP, ISEE, PSAT, SAT, or another approved test; if English is not the language of instruction, SSAT plus TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo may be required. A waiver may be possible after interview or after reviewing English-language testing. Merit‑Scholarship contenders must provide a valid SSAT score; the school offers a paper-based SSAT on campus and a computer-based SSAT at Prometric centers (AMIDEAST in Amman is listed). If SSAT results are provided, the dedicated King's Admissions Test may be waived.
Step 7. Step 5 upload transcripts and send recommendations. Submit copies of the current year's grades or progress reports and end-of-year reports from the two prior years. Request math and English teacher recommendation forms, to be completed online through the admissions portal or emailed/delivered in a sealed envelope. Transcripts should be uploaded to the portal or sent by email to admissions@kingsacademy.edu.jo.
Step 8. Optional: Apply for Financial Aid or Merit Scholarship. The Merit Scholarship Program awards merit-based scholarships to select outstanding Grade 7 and Grade 9 applicants; the scholarships are small fixed amounts and an SSAT score is required for entry into the merit track. The Merit Scholarship Intention Form is available to indicate interest. Financial aid is need-based; 40% of the student body receives need-based aid, and $5.3 million in aid was awarded in 2025–2026. Students in need should apply for financial aid through the financial aid process.
