Fees
Application / registration fee

- An inscripción (registration) fee is required at the time of enrolment. This payment covers the annual charges that are collected at registration: seguro de vida del tutor (life insurance for the guardian), seguro de accidentes personales (personal accident insurance), cuota SEP, credencial (student ID), cuota de padres de familia and, when applicable, the Bachillerato Internacional fee. These inscription/annual fees are payable in full at registration.

Tuition (colegiatura) — structure and timing

- Tuition is charged monthly and is collected as ten (10) monthly colegiaturas per academic year (equivalent to ten monthly payments in the presencial/school‑based modality). These 10 monthly payments are grouped as five payments for the Otoño period (payments beginning in September and ending in January) and five payments for the Primavera period (payments beginning in February and ending in June). Every month or period started is payable in full.

- The institution publishes tuition amounts by campus and by program through the official circulars and billing platform for each cycle. Specific numeric tuition amounts for Prepa UPAEP Cholula are set and communicated by the campus in the circulars and billing notices.

Tuition by year group / per term details

- Tuition is billed as monthly colegiaturas (see schedule above). The school divides the academic year into two periods (Otoño and Primavera) and issues the ten monthly colegiaturas accordingly; there is not a separate per‑semester list of fixed monthly amounts published on the campus profile. The campus provides the exact monthly amount and any program‑specific supplements (for example IB program charges where applicable) in its circulars and student account statements.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Due date: Monthly colegiaturas must be paid within the first seventeen (17) natural days of each month. Payment after the due date incurs a surcharge.

- Late payment penalty: A recargo (late payment charge) of 3% monthly is applied on outstanding balances; returned checks generate a sanction equal to 20% of the check value plus bank commissions. Persistent non‑payment (for example, default in three colegiaturas) can lead to suspension of educational services.

- Payment periods: All periods that begin (Otoño or Primavera) must be paid in full for the student to retain the right to attend classes and assessments; for the automatic reinscription process in January, students must have no outstanding arrears.

Boarding / residence fees

- Boarding is not applicable: Prepa UPAEP Cholula is offered in modalidad presencial (day school); no boarding or dormitory fees are published for this campus.

Other costs and annual fees

- Annual fees included in the inscription (paid at registration and charged 100% at that time): cuota de padres de familia, cuota SEP, credencial, seguro de vida del tutor (coverage through degree level), seguro de accidentes personales (reimbursement for medical expenses in school), and any Bachillerato Internacional fee when applicable. These concepts are billed as part of registration. Books, school supplies, transport, camps, extracurricular fees and other optional services are not included in inscription or monthly colegiatura and are charged separately.

- Additional one‑time or occasional charges: certificate issuance fees for graduating year students, specific charges for certain activities (campamentos, excursiones), IB exam or program fees where applicable, locker or parking fees and other service charges may be applied and are communicated prior to the start of the cycle or when the activity is scheduled.

Discounts and scholarships

- The school operates scholarship and discount programs (including performance, sports, legacy/family and collaborator/company agreements). Family discounts for multiple siblings are defined (for example, fixed percentage reductions on inscription and on colegiaturas for the 2nd, 3rd and subsequent family members), and collaborator/company discounts apply when the employer has an agreement with UPAEP. Eligibility rules and percentages are defined by the institution and applied at the time of registration.

Refunds and withdrawals

- Refunds for prepaid colegiaturas: In the event of a definitive withdrawal before the end of a period and when prepaid tuition exists, the institution will return the portion of payments that have not been earned (pagos no devengados) up to the date the withdrawal is applied, provided the parent/tutor submits the original deposit/ficha that supports the payment. For a definitive withdrawal to be processed, the student must have no outstanding debt. Procedural conditions apply.

Fee payment options and invoicing

- Accepted payment methods: cash (via the referenced bank account), credit or debit card (Visa or Mastercard) through the institution's designated payment system, cheque (to Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla A.C.), domiciliación (automatic charge to card or checking account), and electronic bank transfer using the CLABE provided by the campus. Returned cheques and incorrect transfer references have specified administrative consequences.

- Facturación (invoicing): When a payment for inscripción, colegiatura or reinscripción is reflected in the student account, the CFDI (electronic invoice) is automatically issued and sent to the registered email; procedures exist to request invoices under a different RFC when required.

Penalties and collections

- Repeated non‑payment can result in administrative withdrawal, suspension of academic rights (including loss of access to exams or activities), application of legal collection measures and reporting of payer information to credit bureau services according to institutional policy. Facilidades de pago and special payment agreements may be granted by treasury under defined criteria.

Summary of findings and scope limitation

- The institutional regulations, payment rules and financial‑aid rules for Prepas UPAEP (including Prepa UPAEP Cholula) are published and describe: which charges are collected at registration; the tuition billing rhythm (10 monthly colegiaturas grouped in two periods); accepted payment methods; penalties; refund rules for withdrawals; and scholarship/discount policies. These documents do not publish the campus‑specific numeric tuition or inscription amounts directly on the public campus profile pages; numeric monthly or annual amounts are issued to families via the campus circulars and the official billing platform. As a result, exact numeric values (application/registration amount, monthly colegiatura by year group, uniform costs, boarding charges if any) are not available in the public materials consulted.
