Billing schedule and payment terms

- Invoicing and payment are handled through the school's online invoicing/payment system (WIS Collect). Parents receive payment instructions by email from the WIS Collect system.
- Payment timing: school fees must be paid in advance either in full or in three equal instalments with these deadlines:
- First instalment: no later than 1 June each year.
- Second instalment: no later than 1 November each year.
- Third instalment: no later than 1 January each year.
- For admission after 1 June, the full payment or payment of the first instalment must be made within 21 days of receiving the invoice. A pro rata school fee applies for interim registration after 1 October (the fee equals the annual fee multiplied by remaining whole and partial months divided by 10).
- Online payment methods are provided through WIS Collect; available payment methods depend on the payment-service setup (WIS Collect supports common Dutch online methods such as iDEAL and other trusted PSP methods where enabled).

Deposit and registration/acceptance payments

- School deposit required before a student may attend: EUR 500. This deposit is used to cover loss or damage to school property or loss of schoolbooks. The deposit is refundable when the student leaves the school once books are returned and outstanding invoices are settled.

Other costs and mandatory extras

- MP4 language trip: up to approximately EUR 850 (annual).
- DP1 field trip: approximately EUR 175.
- DP1 cultural trip: up to approximately EUR 850.
- MP5 MYP certificate / e‑assessment fee (mandatory): EUR 450.
- IB Diploma examination fee for a typical full candidature (six subjects, including administration, TOK, CAS and extended essay): approximately EUR 700. Examination fees are charged at the current IB rates and are mandatory for candidates. Separate invoices are issued for examination fees.
- Extra-curricular activities, optional trips and some activities are not included in the school fee and will be invoiced separately. Costs for optional activities are notified to parents in advance and invoiced when applicable.
- Books and prescribed textbooks are provided by the school at no charge; parents do not pay for textbooks.
- There is a collective school insurance that covers certain liability/damage while travelling to/from school, at school, and during school activities; this does not cover personal property loss such as mobile phones or personal devices.

Refunds, withdrawal and cancellation charges

- Deposit refund: the deposit (EUR 500) is refundable on leaving the school after return of books and settlement of outstanding invoices; the deposit may be reduced by outstanding charges.
- Withdrawing mid-year: if the agreement ends before the end of the granted period, the school is entitled to the due fees and reimbursement set as a percentage of the annual fee depending on the month of leaving. Example withdrawal percentages (mid‑year):
- August–December: 50% owed; January: 60%; February: 70%; March: 80%; April: 90%; May–July: 100% owed.
- Deregistration for the next school year must be completed by 1 June. If Parents/Guardians deregister after 1 June but before 1 August, 25% of the next year's school fee is owed.
- DP2 re‑sit candidates: students retaking up to three exam subjects pay 50% of the school fees plus all associated examination costs.

International School Het Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest (ISRLO) is an IB World School embedded in the Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest campus, serving students aged 11 to 18. The curriculum combines the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) for 11–16 with the IB Diploma Programme (DP) in the final two years. MYP spans five years, and students may receive the IB Middle Years Certificate or a Record of Achievement on completion.
