The school offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and a bilingual education program with a strong emphasis on English language learning. English language learning occupies a prominent place in the educational project; the bilingual approach helps students develop solid linguistic competencies in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and students have access to international certifications.
The school fosters a climate of convivencia that supports the teaching and learning process. This is achieved through self-discipline rather than mere reliance on authority. The convivencia framework promotes student growth through accompaniment, focusing on reflection and attitude change rather than punitive discipline. All educators work on preventing disciplinary infractions, with particular attention to identifying individual, group, or family issues that could trigger misbehavior or misuses of freedom.
From early years, gradual language immersion is promoted, using dynamic methodologies that integrate academic content with real-life situations. This fosters not only language learning but also greater confidence and fluency in everyday use. In addition, students have access to international certifications that validate their English level and broaden their academic and professional opportunities. English proficiency at Villa Alarife is not only an academic objective but an essential tool for holistic development.
We strive to create a climate of convivencia conducive to the teaching‑learning process, recognizing wellbeing comes from self‑discipline and a supportive classroom. The convivencia framework promotes student growth through accompaniment, emphasizing reflection and attitude change rather than punishment.
