Arab International Academy - Lusail offers the International Baccalaureate continuum: PYP, MYP, and DP for students aged 3 to 18. The Lusail campus is a candidate school for PYP and MYP and pursues IB authorization. The school provides a modern facility with highly equipped classrooms, small group spaces, multi-purpose rooms, a theatre, libraries, and dedicated music, drama, and art rooms. On campus are educational gardens, a swimming pool, a clinic, an assembly hall, indoor and outdoor sports fields, and a dining area, with science labs to support hands-on inquiry and project work. Weekly enrichment classes cover creative, scientific, artistic, and sports areas, with optional after-school activities available for a fee. Arabic language and Arab culture are central to its cultural and language program. The school aims to develop IB learners through inquiry-based approaches across a broad curriculum. International school. AIA-Lusail is a candidate school for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) and is pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

The 2025–2026 academic year starts August 31, 2025, with a winter break December 21, 2025 to January 4, 2026. Holidays include Qatar National Day (December 18), Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr (March 2026), and Eid Al Adha (March 26–28, 2026). The last day for students is July 23, 2026, and administrative staff return dates are in August 2026 (first day for administrative staff August 16, 2026; first day for new academic staff August 16, 2026; first day for returning academic staff August 23, 2026; first day for students August 30, 2026).

English and Arabic are offered as secondary languages. Language support and assessments are provided through Learning Support Services, including counselors, psychologists, and speech-language therapists, with in-class support and IEPs as appropriate.
Emotional safety and belonging are central to mental wellbeing. Wellbeing emphasizes supportive relationships, authentic expression, and a culture that values care and resilience.
1. Apply online by visiting aia-lusail.qa and complete the application. Attach copies of the required documents: Student's Qatar Identification Card; Parents' Qatar Identification Cards; Student's birth certificate; Student passport-size photo; Most recent student school report; Student's passport; Parents' passports; Referral letter from the last attended school (to be sent directly to AIA). 2. Your application will be reviewed and evaluated once all required documents are received, and you will be contacted to arrange for an entrance test and/or interview. Admission decisions follow the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education regarding admission and the equivalency of educational systems. You will be informed of the decision a few days after the interview and/or entrance test. 3. Upon acceptance, pay the registration fee of QAR 500 (non-refundable) and the place reservation fee of QAR 2,000 (deductible from tuition and non-refundable). Payments can be made by cheque at the AIA premises or by bank transfer. Bank details are provided by AIA for the transfer. Before completing the wire transfer, ensure the student's name is clearly marked on the documents and the full amount is transferred. 4. Upon acceptance, provide the following documents: Student medical file issued by a public medical center; A completed and signed medical form; Letter of employment from the parents' workplace; End-of-year report from the previous school year; Signed copies of fee schedules; Signed copies of AIA school registration guidelines.
