What the tuition covers
- Tuition fees include the educational programme, native English‑speaking teaching support (where applicable), partial excursions, onsite meals up to Year 6 (international programme), free school clubs (as stated), learning materials and school supplies, and EAL support where required.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Billing periods follow the school's academic periods (study periods/terms). Payment is required per each academic period.
- Payment is 100% prepayment for the academic period and must be received before the first day of the period being paid for.
- For families choosing to secure a place by advance agreement, the school accepts an advance payment that is credited toward the first academic period per the contract arrangement.
- For the international programme published fees are shown in EUR; amounts payable under the school contract in RUB are determined at the Central Bank of Russia exchange rate on the day of payment, with a contractual floor rate applied where stated. The school allows payment by term (trimester) or for the full year.
Refunds and contract termination
- The admission/assessment fee (entry testing) is non‑refundable.
- If a pupil leaves during an academic period at the parent's initiative, the school may withhold the fee for that academic period (i.e., fees for the period may not be refunded). A written notice of withdrawal must be provided no less than 50 calendar days before the end of the current academic period.
- If an academic period is cancelled or changed by the school for reasons of force majeure or official sanitary restrictions, the cost of education is not subject to refund in the circumstances described in the contract.
- The school may suspend or terminate provision of services for late or missing payments until outstanding amounts are received.
Boarding
- The British International School in Moscow does not provide boarding; no boarding fees apply.
Other fees and additional charges
