Admissions

Admissions

Entrance Test: Prospective students are required to take an Entrance Test. This assessment evaluates the student's suitability for their chosen course, ensuring they meet the necessary academic standards.

Interview with Principal: Following the Entrance Test, the student and their parent will participate in an interview with the Principal. This can be conducted face-to-face or via video conference, providing an opportunity to discuss the student's aspirations and address any questions.

Submission of Application: If the student meets the minimum requirements and passes both the Entrance Test and interview, they will be asked to submit the Admission Form along with the required supporting documents.

Student's Pass Application: The Student Services team will apply for the Student's Pass through the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) SOLAR+ System. Once the In-Principle Approval (IPA) Letter is received, the student will be notified.

Tuition Fee Payment: Upon receiving the IPA Letter, tuition fees must be paid at least seven working days before the course commencement date. This ensures all administrative processes are completed in a timely manner.

Diagnostic Test: After obtaining the student visa, the student will undergo a Diagnostic Test upon entering the school. This helps assess their current academic standing and identify any areas needing support.

Official Enrollment: With the student visa issued by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, the student officially becomes part of the FIS community, ready to embark on their educational journey.



Scholarships

FIS offers scholarships through the FIS Foundation Education Scholarship program. These scholarships cover full tuition and hostel fees, with recipients required to pay SGD 2,000, while FIS absorbs the remaining costs.

Applicants must present their school exam results in subjects like English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Interested students are required to submit a letter in English to scholar@fisfoundation.org.sg explaining why they should receive the scholarship. Shortlisted candidates will then undergo a test and interview via WeChat.
