Pastoral Care provides daily wellbeing support for students. Each year group meets with their form tutor daily, and the form tutor's primary role is the pastoral support and wellbeing of students. The mission emphasises a caring, respectful and stimulating learning environment that supports social and emotional development. The learning environment, characterized by small class sizes and strong relationships, underpins student wellbeing as part of everyday school life.

Pastoral Care supports safeguarding and student welfare. Each year group meets daily with a form tutor, whose primary role is pastoral support and the wellbeing of students. A school management system connects teachers, students and parents to monitor attendance, assignments and progress, enabling regular oversight of student welfare.

1. In-person meetings with every new family are required. These meetings establish mutual understanding of admission expectations and programme structure. When possible, a 'taster' day is offered, during which interviews, entry assessments and a tour of the facilities take place. The school operates open enrolment and welcomes students who can rise to the challenge.

2. Entry points are the first and third years. The two-year structure of IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme means other entries are discussed and evaluated on an individual basis, always with the student's best interest in mind. Both the IGCSE and IB DP are two-year programs.

3. The 2026/27 VIA Application Form is used to apply for Year 10 (International GCSE) or Year 12 (IB Diploma Programme). The form collects details such as child's name, date of birth, address, nationality, languages spoken at home, and entry programme. It asks for previous schooling experience, hobbies and interests, medical conditions, learning support needs, and any special considerations. Supporting documents include ID page of the passport and the two most recent school reports; there is also space for other documents.
