Introduction

Dwight School London is an independent, co-educational day school in north London serving students aged 2 to 18. Admissions
Step 1: Application Form and fee. Complete the Application Form via OpenApply, the admissions portal. On submission you receive an invoice for the £240 (inclusive of VAT) non-refundable Application Fee, payable online by credit or debit card. Nursery application form and School application form are available depending on the age group.
Step 2: Supporting Documents. After submission and payment of the application fee, a checklist appears. Provide a Parent Statement about your child (include an original-language copy if translated) and a Student Statement. Include a Language Profile and a Teacher Reference, along with school reports from the previous two years and any other certificates or documents. If you cannot obtain documents, discuss possible alternatives with admissions.
Step 3: Meet the principal. You and your child will be invited to meet with Will Bowry (Senior School Principal) or Helen Enisuoh (Junior School Principal) for a face-to-face meeting to assess whether Dwight is a good match for your child's needs. The meeting may be conducted virtually if necessary. The meeting helps determine fit with the school's approach and the student's educational goals.
Step 4: Admissions Committee Review. After receiving the completed Application Form, required documents and application fee, the file is reviewed by the Admissions Committee. You will be informed in writing of the decision—whether a place will be offered, declined, waitlisted or further steps are required. To secure a place, complete the Acceptance Form and pay the Deposit. We are happy to meet students or conduct Google Meet interviews; if joining mid-year, a taster day may be required to evaluate the student.

Scholarships
Dwight School London offers Visionary Grants up to 50% remission of fees for the relevant year groups, starting from September 2026, with criteria including being Greater London-based and having an innovative, involved family; applications require a creative pitch and the current admissions process, with an application fee of £200 and a deposit of £2000, and a taster day is part of the process. Scholarships are non-selective and awarded during admissions to recognise talented students who show potential to be successful IB students and to contribute to life at the school.
