The school is the only French institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina approved by the French Ministry of Education and Sarajevo Canton. Extracurriculars include multisport, Chinese language, arts and piano, chess, offering opportunities for language learning and cultural exchange after school.

United World College in Mostar is a residential IB Diploma school founded in 2006 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the only UWC located in a post-conflict society and the only one integrated into a national public school system. Students from over 30 countries live, study, and serve the community together. The school emphasises critical thinking, global awareness, service, and outdoor education. It occupies a historic Austro-Hungarian building in Mostar.
