Bavarian International School (BIS) is a non-profit gAG with two Munich campuses: City Campus in Schwabing and the Haimhausen Campus. BIS offers the full International Baccalaureate continuum—PYP for ages 3–12, MYP for 13–16, and DP and CP for 16–19—with English as the language of instruction. German is taught from Grade 1 and additional languages (French, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin) begin in Grade 6. The school serves approximately 1,250 students from more than 60 nations. BIS provides language and learning support, pastoral care and university counselling. Facilities include three libraries, City Campus and Haimhausen Makerspaces, Technology & Design Labs and Visual & Performing Arts spaces, plus indoor and outdoor PE facilities.
