Global Jaya School offers the IB Continuum: the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 4–12, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for ages 11–16, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for ages 16–19. The PYP uses six transdisciplinary themes with an inquiry-based approach, developing thinking, communication, research, self-management and social skills, and fostering IB learner profile attributes. The PYP culminates in the Year 6 PYP Exhibition, and there is an overnight camp programme for Years 4–6. The MYP provides a framework for practical connections between studies and the real world, emphasizes inquiry and agency, and includes the Service as Action programme to develop service-oriented projects and collaboration. The DP is a two-year pre-university programme with externally assessed examinations; students study six subjects (three at standard level and three at higher level) and complete the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS). In addition to IB, Indonesian students follow the Indonesian National Curriculum (Pendidikan Pancasila, Agama, Bahasa Indonesia).
University counselling supports progression to higher education; counsellors help students identify suitable universities and assist with applications; university placement and guidance begin from Year 9.
The school encourages students to pursue passions in artistic, athletic, academic, or service directions, supported by a diverse, experienced team of educators. They are encouraged to experiment, identify and select areas of interest in a supportive space where risk-taking is actively encouraged. The arts program involves singing, art, and stage performances from Early Years onward, developing creativity and collaboration. The athletics program provides a range of physical activities and competitions, offering opportunities for physical, mental, and emotional development through teamwork and leadership. Action, Service as Action (SA) and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) underpin school-wide engagement, problem-solving, and community impact. Week Without Walls and other trips extend education beyond the classroom, fostering socially responsible attitudes and actions.
Global Jaya School supports mental wellbeing as part of holistic development. Students participate in athletics and other activities that foster resilience, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. The school uses SA and CAS to promote collaboration, empathy, and service, which strengthens emotional well-being and belonging. The Diploma Programme emphasizes emotional and ethical growth as part of a balanced education. Experiential learning and service opportunities further support healthy social and emotional development.
