Higher Education Progression

Approximately 65% of graduates continue to university. The alumni network includes more than 250 graduates at over 85 universities across 40+ countries. In 2025, the graduating class of 26 students received more than 200 university offers. A Pathways Counsellor supports students and families in planning post-Green School pathways.

Wellbeing

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Social-emotional learning is embedded across Green School Bali's Primary School. It happens everywhere and at all times, including directed classroom lessons, the Teman-Teman friendships programme, and informal moments around the nature-infused campus such as lunch conversations and post-conflict discussions. Students learn to recognise their own emotions, understand how to build relationships, and develop strategies to resolve problems. The programme supports self-awareness, empathy, communication, and conflict resolution as ongoing aspects of daily life. The approach weaves social-emotional development into everyday learning rather than treating it as a standalone subject. This integration helps students develop social and emotional skills alongside their academic learning.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Green School Bali has an experienced team of Learning Support specialists to assist students with learning differences. An English language assessment process is in place for applicants who do not speak English, including interviews during the application process to determine English support needs. English language support is available to help students access the curriculum. The school emphasizes individualized learning pathways and inclusive education. This approach aims to enable students with diverse needs to participate fully in Green School Bali's programs.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Students come to Green School Bali from all over the world with varying levels of English fluency. Students entering Early Years (ages 3-5) may enter with limited or no English. Primary School applicants with limited English skills may benefit from our Green School English Programme before entering Green School Bali. Middle School and High School applicants need to have intermediate to advanced English skills in order to be admitted. English language support is available to help students access the curriculum as they develop proficiency.

Mental Wellbeing

Wellbeing is central to Green School Bali's approach. The living campus and nature-blended spaces create an environment where wellbeing can be nurtured through daily routines and in daily practice. A daily mindful moment, signalled by a campus gong, centers students before continuing with their day. Mindfulness practices support self-awareness, attention, and resilience, and are integrated into school life for learners from Early Years through High School. The campus also offers spaces such as a river-adjacent area and a wall-less yoga studio to support decompression, grounding, and holistic development. Mind, body, and spirit are nourished through these practices as part of the broader learning experience.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding and child protection are of paramount importance at Green School Bali. Children should be respected and their views heard, and safeguarding is based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. An extensive Safeguarding Policy and training programme exists and is regularly reviewed and updated. All new staff members are subject to safer recruitment procedures, with recruitment staff trained and new joiners completing safeguarding training refreshed periodically. Students have age-appropriate safeguarding lessons and the school undergoes annual safeguarding audits. The school provides access to safeguarding resources and policies for staff, students, and families.
