Accepting children aged **2 to 6 years**, BEYC runs Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with early drop-off and late pick-up options. British Early Years Centre teaches EYFS (Early years foundation stage), Reggio Emilia Approach for students aged 2 to 6.
The British Early Years Centre (BEYC) follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, integrated with the Reggio Emilia approach and a strong focus on nature-based learning. The programme covers the seven key areas of EYFS development: Communication and Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Literacy (including phonics), Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design. Teacher-led activities in the mornings focus on core skills such as phonics, literacy, and numeracy, while afternoons are dedicated to child-led exploration and project work in line with Reggio Emilia principles. Learning is supported through small group teaching, a 1:4 adult-to-child ratio, and both indoor and outdoor environments designed for creative, open-ended play. The curriculum is delivered entirely in English, with Thai language and culture incorporated as part of the broader learning experience. BEYC caters for children aged 2–6 years, from Pre-Nursery to Year 1.
BEYC promotes social and emotional development through positive behaviour guidance, respectful communication, and empathy-building activities. The school uses “Sand’s Choices,” a conflict-resolution tool designed to help children resolve disputes independently or with minimal adult intervention. Teachers encourage respectful language and manners, and praise is used as a key reinforcement method. SEL is integrated into daily routines, supported by small class sizes and strong teacher–student relationships. These practices aim to help children develop critical thinking, self-regulation, and social skills.
The school asks parents to declare any additional assistance a child may require at the time of registration, including allergies or Special Educational Needs (SEN). This information is used to prepare for the child’s arrival and ensure appropriate support is in place. While BEYC can make adjustments for individual needs, it is not a specialist SEN institution. Provision may include changes to daily routines, learning approaches, and health management. The school does not publicly list the specific types of SEN it can support beyond medical and allergy considerations.
The school does not publicly disclose information regarding EAL provision.
The school does not publicly disclose specific programmes, staff roles, or initiatives dedicated to mental wellbeing.
BEYC enforces strict collection policies, requiring authorised pick-up cards and photo ID for all guardians. Staff follow clear procedures for sickness, injury, and emergency care, including basic first aid and CPR training. All incidents are documented, and parents are notified regardless of severity. The school implements regular safety measures, such as mosquito control, air quality monitoring, and secure access during drop-off and pick-up.
1. Initial Registration
Parents submit an application form and pay a one-off registration fee of THB 180,000. This fee secures a place and fixes tuition rates for future years. All meals, snacks, drinks, insurance, resources, and other fees are included in the tuition.
2. Document Submission
Once registered, parents must submit required documents (for both parent and child) at least two weeks before the start date. Failure to do so may delay the start date or result in the loss of the reserved place.
3. Fee Payment
For new Pre-Nursery students, the first term’s tuition (or full year fee) is due in January of the entry year. Parents applying after January must pay both the term fee and registration fee together. For mid-year entry, registration and term fees are due together, and processing takes up to two weeks.
4. Final Confirmation
Once all payments and documents are received, the child’s seat is confirmed. Any delay in payment can result in the place being offered to another applicant.
The school does not publicly disclose information regarding scholarships.
BEYC operates a waitlist system. To join the waitlist, parents pay the registration fee as a deposit. If a seat becomes available, the family is invited to join at that time. If the family cannot join when offered, the deposit is not refunded. If no seat becomes available, the deposit is refunded within two months.
