Fees

Annual tuition at Avenues São Paulo ranges from BRL 199,900 to BRL 213,450 for 2026/27.

Application fee
- Application (registration) fee: BRL 420.

Tuition fees by age/grade band (annual totals)
- Small World (18 months and 2-year-olds): BRL 117,500 per year. Deposit at enrollment: BRL 17,000; remainder paid in monthly instalments through February of the following calendar year.
- Nursery, Pre‑K, Kindergarten: BRL 199,900 per year. Deposit at enrollment: BRL 34,000; remainder paid in monthly instalments through February of the following calendar year.
- Grades 1–12: BRL 213,450 per year (same tuition for Grades 1–12). Deposit at enrollment: BRL 34,000; remainder paid in monthly instalments through February of the following calendar year.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Tuition is billed as an annual charge. An initial non‑refundable deposit is required at enrollment (amounts listed above) and the remaining balance is divided into equal monthly instalments, with the instalment schedule extending through February of the following calendar year for the published year. Late payment terms or penalties are managed through the school's billing process. Billing and account access are handled through the school admissions/parent portal and the school's enrolment system.

Boarding fees
- Boarding is not applicable: Avenues São Paulo operates as a day campus (no boarding programme or boarding fees are charged).

What is included in the published tuition and what may incur extra charges
- Included in annual tuition (as applicable by grade level): books and required materials; lunch and snacks; educational technology; field trips; transport to/from school activities; and athletic uniforms. There are no separate capital, building or initiation fees.
- Optional or supplementary charges (not included in the annual tuition and billed separately): school café/personal food purchases, after‑school enrichment/specialty programs, summer camps, certain international programs/trips, and optional home‑to‑school transportation for some routes.

Other one‑time or recurring costs
- Deposits at enrollment (listed above) are required to secure a place and to initiate the instalment plan. Additional optional programme fees (for summer programmes, after‑school activities, international travel programs, etc.) are billed separately when applicable. Uniforms are covered for students in the Care Social Scholarship Program when specified by that programme; otherwise families may incur uniform costs for certain items if not provided through financial assistance.

Refund information
- A specific São Paulo campus tuition refund schedule is not published alongside the tuition totals and billing details. Avenues' family handbooks for other campuses describe a tuition refund programme (example: a month‑by‑month prorated refund schedule used in Avenues' published family handbook for a different campus). Families should expect that withdrawal and refund rules will be governed by the campus enrollment terms and the school's billing policies.

Fee payment options and practical notes on payments
- The school issues invoices and manages payments through its admissions/enrolment and parent billing systems; families are billed via the school's enrolment portal and the school's finance office manages instalments and account statements. Specific accepted payment instruments (for example, bank transfer, PIX, boleto, credit/debit card, or third‑party payment processors) are not listed in the publicly available tuition and admissions materials; payment method options are provided through the school's enrolment/billing process at the time of enrolment.

Notes on financial assistance and scholarships
- Partial need‑based financial aid is available from Small World through Grade 12; a separate Care Social Scholarship Program may cover up to 99% of tuition and can include support for uniforms, transportation, extracurricular activities, trips and college‑application costs for eligible recipients. Financial aid awards are grant‑based and do not require repayment. Families must indicate intent to apply for aid at the time of application and submit required documentation for review.

If you require the figures presented above in a different format (for example per instalment breakdowns, currency conversions, or per‑term amounts), those specifics are derived from the annual totals and the school's instalment schedule and can be calculated on request.

Wellbeing

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school believes that academic success is inseparable from emotional and social thriving. The wellbeing framework transcends mental and physical health and creates an environment where students feel safe, valued, and empowered to pursue their passions and dreams, fostering belonging and purpose beyond the classroom. The model emphasizes that true wellbeing enables students to manage challenges effectively and build resilience. The Deans Program provides each student with a dedicated mentor and advocate, offering holistic support from grades 6–12, including guidance through college counseling.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The Brazilian Program uses an integrated curricular approach with instruction in Portuguese and English, yielding a balanced mastery of both languages. All Brazilian national curricular components of Portuguese are included in the language curriculum at each grade level. English and Portuguese are not seen as separate silos but as two essential facets of an Avenues education.

Mental Wellbeing

Wellbeing is defined as more than mental and physical health; it involves creating an environment where students feel safe, valued, and empowered to pursue their passions, fostering belonging and purpose that extends beyond the classroom. The focus is on providing tools to manage challenges and build resilience. The Deans Program offers holistic support for students, including dedicated mentors and college counseling guidance from grades 6–12.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is supported by the Dean of Student Life and a student wellbeing framework that prioritizes safety, belonging, and support across divisions. The program provides mentors and advocates to students (including college counseling) to ensure holistic care and protection within the school community.
